Terms & Conditions of Use
Last updated: October 19, 2025
1. Purpose and acceptance of the terms
This document (the “Terms”) governs access to and use of the online platform available at www.resume-cloud.com (the “Platform”), operated by MURGU ADRIAN – Sole Proprietor (PFA). By accessing, creating an account, or using the services, the User confirms they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms. If the User does not agree, they must immediately stop using the Platform.
2. Definitions
For the purpose of this document: Platform – the online service provided via www.resume-cloud.com; Operator – MURGU ADRIAN PFA, the service provider; User – any person who accesses or uses the Platform; Account – the User’s individual electronic space; Subscription – the paid plan that grants access to premium features; Third-party services – Stripe, Supabase, Google Analytics, Vercel, Resend or other integrated technical providers.
3. Service operator
Operator: MURGU ADRIAN – Sole Proprietor (PFA). Professional address: Onești, Aleea Parcului no. 7, Staircase A, Apt. 1, Bacău County, Romania. CUI: 48569206 | EUID: ROONRC.F4/605/2023 | Series B No. 4756551. Contact: support@resume-cloud.com / contact@resume-cloud.com / office@resume-cloud.com.
4. Services provided
The Platform provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) for creating, saving, exporting, and sharing professional resumes. Services are available exclusively online and do not involve delivery of physical goods. The Operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform’s functionality at any time without prior notice.
5. Accounts and access
A user account is required for full use of the Platform. The User agrees to provide real, accurate, and up-to-date information. The Operator may suspend, limit, or close the account without notice in cases of abuse, non-payment, fraud, unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or breach of these Terms.
6. Subscriptions, payments, and taxes
The Platform offers access via a recurring monthly subscription processed through Stripe. First week: €0.99 (7-day trial). Afterwards: €18.99 per month, auto-renewed. The Operator is not a VAT payer. Additional taxes may apply under the User’s local laws. All payments are final. The Operator does not have access to card data and is not liable for payment processor errors.
7. Canceling the subscription
The User can cancel the subscription only from their own account (Dashboard) before the next renewal date. Cancellation does not generate a refund for the period already paid. After cancellation is confirmed, the service remains active until the end of the billed period, after which all account-related data — including resumes, files, and personal information — will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from the system.
7.1. Responsibility for the email address
The User is solely responsible for the correctness of the email address entered at sign-up or payment. The Operator is not liable where data is entered incorrectly by the User, which may result in not receiving notifications, invoices, or confirmations. In such cases, the User must send a written request to contact@resume-cloud.com to rectify information, accompanied by supporting proof of payment or identity.
8. Refund policy
All payments are non-refundable. In exceptional cases (force majeure or proven payment system error), a refund may be considered only based on supporting documents submitted by the User via email within 7 days of the incident. The final decision belongs solely to the Operator.
9. Third-party services
The Platform uses external services: Stripe, Supabase, Google Analytics, Vercel, Resend, and other technical integrations. The Operator does not guarantee the availability, security, accuracy, or continuity of these services and cannot be held liable for malfunctions, data loss, delays, or damages resulting from their use.
10. Intellectual property
All elements of the Platform (source code, interface, texts, graphics, databases, resume templates, editorial content) are protected by copyright. Reproduction, redistribution, copying, modification, publication, sale, or use in other applications or services is prohibited without the Operator’s written consent. Infringements may trigger civil and criminal liability.
11. Technical limitations and maintenance
The Platform may be subject to maintenance, updates, or temporary interruptions. The Operator reserves the right to carry out such actions without notice and without being liable for service unavailability.
12. Force majeure
The Operator is not responsible for failure to perform obligations due to causes beyond its control (force majeure, global technical incidents, cyberattacks, pandemics, natural disasters, supplier failures, etc.). In such cases, refunds are not granted, except those documented as per Section 8.
13. Limitation of liability
The Operator does not guarantee and is not responsible for uninterrupted operation of the Platform, results obtained by the User, data loss, technical errors, hardware or software failures, lost profits, commercial, reputational, or personal losses. The User uses the Platform at their own risk. The Operator is fully released from liability for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
14. Electronic communication
By using the Platform, the User agrees that all communications, notices, and documents sent electronically (email, account, automated notices) have the same legal value as written documents.
15. Privacy and personal data
The Operator processes personal data strictly according to the Privacy Policy available at www.resume-cloud.com/privacy. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided. The Platform may use cookies and analytics tools in accordance with the Cookie Policy.
16. Assignment and transfer
The Operator may assign or transfer the rights and obligations arising from these Terms to another legal entity without the User’s prior consent. The User may not assign their rights without the Operator’s written approval.
17. Changes to the terms
The Operator may change these Terms at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be published at www.resume-cloud.com/terms and takes effect on the publication date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes unconditional acceptance of the changes.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
This document is governed by the laws of Romania, in line with European Union rules. Any dispute will first be resolved amicably. Failing agreement, jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Romania.
19. Entire agreement
These Terms constitute the entire legal agreement between the User and the Operator and supersede any prior written or verbal understandings regarding use of the Platform.
20. Final provisions
If any clause of these Terms is declared null, the remaining provisions remain in force. Failure by the Operator to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right. By using the Platform, the User declares they have read the document in full and accept it without reservation.
