1. Scope
This policy applies to all payments made to Resume-Cloud for access to premium features and instantly delivered digital templates.
2. Fundamental principle: No refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable because the services consist of digital content provided on a non-tangible medium, made immediately accessible after payment. Once activated, the user can generate, download, and use Resumes without limitation, and the service is considered consumed.
3. Legal basis (EU consumers)
According to EU Directive 2011/83 and Romanian GEO 34/2014, art. 16(m), the right of withdrawal does not apply to “the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium if the performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right of withdrawal.” At checkout, users provide this explicit consent by checking the box “I accept the Terms and Conditions and waive my right of withdrawal for instantly delivered digital content.”
4. Delivery and service consumption
- Immediate activation of premium features after payment confirmation.
- Instant access to premium templates and the option for unlimited downloads.
- Resume generation and live-share links become available immediately.
Therefore, refund requests made afterward are not eligible.
5. Non-eligible refund situations (examples)
- Change of mind or “I no longer need it.”
- Subjective dissatisfaction with design after use.
- Local browser/device issues or connectivity problems.
- Partial or no use of the subscription after activation.
- Comparisons with competitor services or price changes announced in the Terms.
6. Strictly limited exceptions
Outside the lack of withdrawal rights, we may assess only:
- Proven billing errors (double charge, incorrect amount) – refund of the difference.
- Permanent technical impossibility attributable solely to us that prevents access to the service for the entire period – proportional refund.
- Permanent service termination initiated by us – proportional refund for the unused period.
Note: temporary maintenance or updates do not grant refund rights.
7. Procedure (eligible cases only)
- Email support@resume-cloud.com within 7 days of the issue.
- Attach proof (bank statement, transaction ID, screenshots).
- Describe the situation and its impact clearly.
We confirm receipt within 48h and reply with a reasoned response within 30 business days.
8. Chargebacks / Payment disputes
If a baseless chargeback is initiated, we reserve the right to provide proof of delivery and consent (checkbox, timestamp, IP, accepted terms version) and to suspend account access until resolution.
9. Waiver of withdrawal — express consent
During checkout, the user explicitly confirms:
“I agree to the immediate delivery of digital content and understand that once service delivery begins, I lose my legal right of withdrawal.”

11. Final provisions
